Emerald Lake. What a beauty. Even Sir. Winston Churchill was captivated by it. He used to paint there, I know because I wrote an article about one of his paintings he painted there when it was displayed at the Banff Museum. Turquoise is also my favourite colour. I just love the colour of the lake. It is that colour because it is glacier fed, and the silt from the glacier turns it that colour.
